I believe in the power of balance between man and nature based on our accountability to the world we live in. My focus on ancient paths of Zen and Tao combined with my business knowledge brings old and new wisdom together for desired harmony.
The Earth is an abundant planet, prosperous with its 7 seas. We are here to enjoy the marvellous wonders of the world. I believe this brings with it the role of stewardship and personal accountability.
My mission, and the purpose of all my activities is to contribute to Earth’s revival.
A weekend Sesshin of Zen is an excellent opportunity to give your Zen practice a boost, which you might not easily achieve on your own. It provides you with the chance to delve deeper into silence and stillness, experiencing what it can do for you.
Theme of the weekend: The Seven Factors of Awakening
This weekend, we will explore the potential for realising the seven factors of awakening: mindfulness, investigation, energy, joy, tranquillity, concentration, and equanimity. This time, the focus is on silence. From there, a path unfolds—not to achieve something, but to see what is already present. They are not goals, but qualities that exist within us, waiting to be recognised.
By remaining constantly aware of our breathing, this leads to the realisation of the seven factors, according to the Buddha. When we continue to practise these factors diligently, it leads to true wisdom and liberation—or so it is said. We will explore this based on the Anapanasati Sutta.
