I believe in the power of balance between man and nature based on our accountability to the world we live in. My focus on ancient paths of Zen and Tao combined with my business knowledge brings old and new wisdom together for desired harmony.
The Earth is an abundant planet, prosperous with its 7 seas. We are here to enjoy the marvellous wonders of the world. I believe this brings with it the role of stewardship and personal accountability.
My mission, and the purpose of all my activities is to contribute to Earth’s revival.
A unique combination to deepen your spiritual path
A weekend of Zen and Qi Gong is an excellent opportunity to give your Zen practice a boost, which you might not easily achieve on your own. It provides you with the chance to delve deeper into silence and stillness, experiencing what it can do for you. When combined with Qi Gong, it adds an extra layer of depth.
Theme of weekend: The Four Foundations of Mindful Awareness
During this weekend, we will explore how the breath, as described in the Anapanasati Sutra, can support us in becoming more aware. We shall delve into what this means, and what it could be to ‘awaken’, as it is called. Awaken from what, exactly? And from where? How can we maintain our attention within awareness, enabling us to be present with care and depth?
As is often said: all that exists falls into one of the four foundations of mindful awareness: the body, feelings, the mind, and the objects of the mind. Through these, we can perceive the true nature of all things. Practising in this way is said to foster stress reduction and allow us to experience calm. From there, the space arises to deepen self-insight and increase emotional resilience. This, in turn, leads to greater focus and deeper wisdom.
The breath is something we can work with whilst sitting on the cushion. However, it also forms an important part of Qi Gong. That is why, this weekend, we will again work with the combination of Zen and Qi Gong.
